Andover Town Band an enthusiastic group of local people bringing you the chance to enjoy listening and taking part in the pleasure of brass band music. Muscial Director - Steve Large
Andover Town Band is a local charity run by a dedicated team of volunteers.
We are a subscription band who rely on the financial support of our sponsors, kind donations from the friends of ATB and the general public. We also raise funds through a variety of concerts and engagements.
All financial support we receive enables us to provide a fully functioning brass band for the local area, providing ongoing tuition to people of all ages and abilities who wish to participate in playing of brass band music.
Andover Town Band is a brass band organisation which is intended to compliment musical choice in the area by offering aspiring musicians a choice of banding ethos and opportunity.
The Band aims to take its music into the community, to share playing and participation with local charities and educational causes.
It promotes the tradition of the brass band movement and in particular provides opportunities for each member to learn, develop and reach their full potential via an exceptional education programme open to both children and adults alike. |
